You know I love that old church, and it is a special bonus when you can get it with a sky like that.
I’m a little sorry to see that the north wall has not yet been repaired, and I worry about it. Do you know anything about the plans for repair, or possible projected timeline?
I noticed nothing had been done, but I didn’t inquire since the venue was culinary arts. I would assume they are having trouble getting money to do the repairs.
That makes sense.
I hate to see that old church crumbling like so many other of the adobes we have photographed and watched as they gradually disappear. 😦

Reblogged this on rebloggobbler.
Timothy this is a beautiful church. Great shots I especially liked the second and last ones!!
Thanks. I love the old church, it’s been part of my life in one way or another for as long as I can remember.
There are so many wonderful churches like this in New Mexico. It would be great to see a collection of works on all of them. Maybe someday! 🙂
Shot #3 really looks like a painting–somewhat reminiscent of some O’Keefe pieces I recently saw in San Francisco.
Thanks, Leah.
Oh wow. I love the sky and the perspective you shot this from! The color of the sky is almost is amazing it matches the sky color! Beautiful photos!
