Since I couldn’t very well fit 12 foot long sheets of corrugated roofing and other building supplies in my Mazda RX-8 (second photo), I used The Home Depot’s rental truck to bring home construction material for my “catio” re-roofing project. The truck is a big Ford Super Duty that only costs $20 for the first 75 minutes.

Like the juxtaposition of these two shots, including your use of blk and white vs color; nice!
Thanks, Nanette!
Nice Mazda! But the truck looks great too! I’m looking for another car for me and my family. It’s very difficult to make a decision which car, because it’s going to be a second hand car…
I got the RX-8 is a second hand car. I just got it in December.
It looks really great!
I’m going for a family car now, because I’ve sold mine to my nephew. He’s only 17 and wants his first car now. He’s going to repair and spray it over. I hope he will enjoy my little Toyota Starlet.
You can’t ruin a good car by putting a roof in it. The $20 was well spent if you ask me. Never driven an rx8 but they are as good to drive as they look.
The $20 is a deal. Especially considering they would have charged me $80 to deliver the materials.
The RX-8 is a great driving car. It’s the first car I’ve owned that I really enjoy driving. Our Mazda Speed 3 is really fun to drive, but the RX-8 fits my long legs much better, and handles better than the Speed 3. The Speed 3 is a little faster on straight acceleration, but I think the RX-8 would do way better than the Speed 3 on a track.
Yep that engine is just an superb bit of engineering, keep good oil in it and it will last for years. I want to have a little thrash round in one I must say. Like you I have long legs 6’4″ tall in any car is nightmare, but some cars just fit. My most comfortable car was my 1987 Audi Quatrro Coupe.
I didn’t know you could rent a truck from Home Depot–that’s really a good deal–beats the expense of having your own truck.
It sure is.
