Yes. I’m a native New Mexican. It’s still the wild west out here in many ways.
I’m in California…born and raised here…and I don’t think I’ve ever seen horses parked downtown. Very amusing photos you have there. 🙂

So, are they just great names for the wine or do they indeed contain chili?
They are really made with red and green chile. We have some wineries in NM that make interesting wines, such as, chocolate and pomegranate, besides the chile wines.

No…I meant to ask if anyone is watching out for signs that a horse might not be doing so well in the heat.
The temperature was only around 40º F, so the horses where quite comfortable. The two cowboys who rode them in could see them from the restaurant across the street. Lots of people walked by and fed the horses candy bars and apples, much to the displeasure of their owners.
Candy bars? Poor horse. That’s worse than being parked out in the sun. 🙂
