They are really made with red and green chile. We have some wineries in NM that make interesting wines, such as, chocolate and pomegranate, besides the chile wines.
The temperature was only around 40º F, so the horses where quite comfortable. The two cowboys who rode them in could see them from the restaurant across the street. Lots of people walked by and fed the horses candy bars and apples, much to the displeasure of their owners.
🙂 I think I just had one of those heads on yesterday, you know one of them funny moods. I blame it on the moon phases myself. Thanks for the comments too, much appreciated.
You certainly find interesting subjects to photograph and always have perfect commentary to go with it. Thanks.
It helps a lot to live in an interesting place.
you really have that inimitable eye of the Photographer, capital ‘P’ – the cat is haunting and beautiful –
and horses? always so very noble – nicely done Mr. Price
Thanks, Low!
Great post! Love it.
Thanks, Herman!
Is that where you live? New Mexico? Wow…horses parked downtown! 🙂
Yes. I’m a native New Mexican. It’s still the wild west out here in many ways.
I’m in California…born and raised here…and I don’t think I’ve ever seen horses parked downtown. Very amusing photos you have there. 🙂
Thanks!
So, are they just great names for the wine or do they indeed contain chili?

Wonderful pictures!. love the horse in the parking space.
Thanks. They were quite a hit with people walking by.
Poor horse. So little shade. Is there a time limit on how long you can park him?
No…I meant to ask if anyone is watching out for signs that a horse might not be doing so well in the heat.

Candy bars? Poor horse. That’s worse than being parked out in the sun. 🙂
I agree!
Wonderful set of images! you know I love these!
Thanks, Susan. I tried the green chile wine, and it tastes like, well, green chile. It’s not bad, really.
:-))))))))))))))))
That pony/donkey just cracked me up, so funny.
It was funny in person, too.
