It’s horribly sad. I felt so bad for the poor little raccoon. Nature is hard and unforgiving. One bright spot is that I did save the owlet that was on the ground before the coyotes got it. Thanks, Gabriela. I hope all is well with you and your kitties.

I’m so sorry you found that! We’ve had so many baby birds destroyed by hawks and ravens. We try to keep the predators away from the bird nests, but they always find a way to steal eggs and babies. Thank you for treating the little creature with love and respect.
