    • I’ve had to book a flight on the Starlings and Sparrows to get back to Germany. My flight was canceled because of a German airline worker strike tomorrow. Thanks, Brian.

    • At the moment, no! I woke up the morning to learn my flight to Germany was canceled because of a German airline worker strike, and the flight they rescheduled me on overlapped with my flight back to the States. The flight back to the States has been moved up a week, and I finally got a better flight, I hope, than the one Lufthansa scheduled. Thanks, Gigi.

  1. Hi Timothy
We like Dundee as well. We went there to have a look at Scott’s ship Discovery, but then we stayed for three days.

  2. I was 5 when I left Dundee. I still remember going up Law Hill and the Tay Bridge, does the “Fifey” ferry still cross the rever to Fife?

    • That I don’t know about the Fifey ferry. She would have to answer that question. Besides the cold wind, Law Hill was wonderful. I only saw the Tay Bridge, and Shey explained the 1879 Tay Bridge disaster. The piles from the old bridge are still sticking up out of the water. Thanks, Geoff.

  3. I’ve tried to comment via a different link and I’m not sure that it was sent, but hopefully this one will. Thanks to Shey, she pointed me in the direction of your time in Dundee. I hope you enjoyed your visit as much as your fabulous blog shows. Great stuff!

    • I got your first comment. She mentioned you. Dundee is a lovely city. So much history, great architecture, and so many things to see and do. I checked out your blog. You are truly a world wanderer. Thanks, Malcolm.

  4. Your blog looks great Timothy. I’ve subscribed so that I can catch up on some of your other posts. I’ve only ever been to Dundee once, and that was just a brief visit, so it was good to see it through your lens.

    • I don’t travel much, but my home in the high desert of New Mexico, USA, is a beautiful area.

      • I’m not able to travel like I used to, but at least I can still write about some of the places I’ve been. Earth and everything about it is absolutely fascinating, and although I’ll never get to New Mexico now, you can rest assured that I’ll be reading more about it now.
