Jake tried to get me up at our normal walk time, which with the time change was 5:00 a.m. I told him to go back to bed. He had to wait until the afternoon to go on a walk because I had a lot to do in the morning and early afternoon. The afternoon was beautiful. We got in a three-mile walk. Surprisingly, we only saw a couple walking their dog and two cyclists for being such a beautiful afternoon.

Silver, Glenda and Sasha stayed in bed longer than Spunk, Marble and I did. Spunk and Marble would have stayed in bed if I hadn’t gotten up.

I saw this Shelby Cobra on the way home from the store this morning. I can’t tell if it’s authentic, but it’s a great-looking car.

Spunk thinking about life, the universe, and everything after we got out of bed this morning.

Jake was seeing if the perpetual sneaker on the coyote that only coyotes, Jake, and I seem to walk on, would fit his right paw. He discovered that he got it on the wrong foot.

Almost got goosed by a couple of geese doing a close fly-by!

“What’s the password, Paparazzo? Sorry! ‘What? I don’t need no stinking password!’ is not the password. Ya wanna try again?”

Spunk
Spunk looks like he is contemplating many things. Looks like a beautiful day there. We had clouds and some rain this afternoon, a high in the lower 50s.
The high was in the mid-60s, with a light breeze, and not a cloud in the sky. Thanks, Lavinia.
What a gorgeous picture of Spunk. Love that car and Jake looks great, as do the other kitties.
I must say Spunk has a certain I can’t say what about him in that pic. I bet he fancies a ride in tha car.
Spunk hates riding in the car. He does barrel rolls in the carrier like an alligator trying to drown its prey. Jake, on the other hand, loves riding in the car. Thanks, Shey.
Here was me thinking it was his cool for cats face!!! How wrong can a girl be!
None of our cats like riding in cars.
hope this is not cos of the driving….. Just joking.
The driving is probably part of it. I like to drive fast.
I guess you have the roads for it there.
Built on a grid and lots of long straight roads with nothing but open land for miles.
I know which is why when I hear any fellow writer pal is heading here, I always ask for their itinerary. You have no idea of he ones who don’t want disabused of the notion they can get off a plane in Edinburgh at midday , collect their luggage, collect a car, drive down to Yorkshire, spend a few hours there then up to Inverness for 10 at night…. They are also always the ones who message the next day to say, ‘Gee Shehanne, how come you ain’t killed on these roads…..?’
There was also a Canadian couple we encountered in the Boots Bar in Glencoe. They were traumatized and not for getting in a car here ever again.
The log in the water, like a tall crocodile with arthritis.
That it does. Thanks, Geoff.
What a nice looking car!
The cats look mighty comfy in bed! Jake is sure cute contemplating by the water.
I mean contemplating over the sneaker😵💫
Jake like to contemplate water, also.
It’s a cool car. Thanks, Becky.
lots of action in your neck of the woods always no matter what day it is or what the time change or weather. I’m just telling them to wait.. lol 💗
Thanks, Cindy
Fun collection, especially the geese, cobra, and silly Jake.
Thanks, Brad.
Good ole Jake!
He can be a stitch. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
The lighting is so pretty in these photos. Sounds like you had a wonderful day.
We had a good walk, although Jake thought it was on the hot side. He likes it when we go out at 6:00 a.m. and the temps are in the 20s. Jake’s frisky while I freeze. Thanks, Isabella.
Super shots of Jake and Spunk!
Thanks, Julie.
