They are thinking it’s getting close to spring and turning white to attract the male trees. Or something like that. The whiteness has to do with the anticipation of spring. The trees don’t stand Idol when “it’s a good day for a white springing.” Thanks, Resa.
I need to walk down and check on Nore Owl. I’m pretty sure she’ll be on the nest. Daddy Owl has been hooting up a storm to the south. I can get to their nest now.
Great photography and I always love the clouds, we have heavy snow clouds right now, which is, as you know, just a thick white blanket. Tim this may sound nuts but this is the first time I have seen a photograph of the trees and the river when it reminds me if I don’t look to closely of a swamp land. It has a real ethereal look about it. I did a piece that will be published in a book soon, and I am sure that you are likely an expert on the area of the “mycorrhizal network,” and how trees talk to one another and have since the beginning. I noticed that someone was asking why the trees looked the way they did, and you knew of course. Your love of nature and your knowledge about it is one of the things I love about you. You have been a true friend to me over the years and one never forgets that. Your photography that you take around your own house is simply amazing. You have a gift and talent for many things and what a blessing to know you. It was a joy to see the river like this with the trees. Just a cool photograph. ❤️
That’s a striking pink cloud-scape, Tim. I love the light touching a twig of the Tangle Heart tree. It makes me think of ET. Hugs
That’s the moon in the THT. It was dark, so the moon was all light. Thanks, Teagan.
Pretty pink clouds.
Thanks, Shey.
From one to another in beautiful procession.
Thanks, Dale. Are you back from vacation or is still happening?
Pleasure is mine and I leave on Saturday 🙂

Amazing clouds.
Why do our trees look so white? xx

That is not only interesting, but beautiful. Thanks Tim!

I need to walk down and check on Nore Owl. I’m pretty sure she’ll be on the nest. Daddy Owl has been hooting up a storm to the south. I can get to their nest now.

I know trees talk to each other, but I am not an expert on it. It’s fascinating. Thanks, Joni. I appreciate your wonderful comment.
My pleasure, my friend. 🙏❤️
Wow raspberry clouds!
