Your portraits are gorgeous! However, after having recently received many, many bites from those little fucking bloodsuckers (bloodfuckers?), my feelings towards mosquitos are not exactly positive.
Their smaller cousins are quite the blood sucking devils (at least the females). This year hasn’t been bad which is surprising with all the rain we have gotten, especially as of late. These steroid versions…no thank you.
Slender might of gentle flight. Great shots.
Thanks, Geoff.
You are so artistic!
It happens from time to time. Thanks, Dale.
Quite!
The Sylvie Guillem of mosquitoes! Gorgeous shots! I hope you didn’t pay in blood for those poses!
No blood letting. Thanks, Marina.
These are amazing shots.
Thanks, Shey.
These are wonderful images……
Thanks, Janet.
Creative share! 🦟
Interesting series of images. I wouldn’t have known they were of a mosquito if you hadn’t said so.
In truth, it was a mosquito hawk. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim. I just looked up mosquito hawk. They are different from our skeeters!
They are different from ours also.
A delightful ballet in three parts, Tim!!!
Thanks, Rebecca.
what a terrific title; eye catching photos; the delight of the day : a photographic haiku 🙂
Thanks, John. I was too tired to write a Timku. I’m happy you saw it in the photos.
hhahahah; I did indeed see it: very inventive 🙂
The images are beautiful, Tim. Even mosquitoes get fine portraits through lens!
Thanks, Lavinia.
These are great pictures
Elegant and beautiful pics, Tim👏
Thanks, Cindy.
Or… a Blood Ballet!
Oddly graceful in your shots.
Thanks Tim!
Quite flexible. Those skeeters. Thanks, Resa.

Fortunately, they think I stink and don’t bother me. But skeeters bloody suck. Sorry to hear you got attacked. Thanks, JYP.
Great shots Tim … did it get you?
No, it didn’t. Skeeters think I stink. Thanks, Julie.
Ha ha they love me!

The skeeters don’t seem bad here until a foreigner shows up, and then they go in for the kill. Thanks, Brian.
