Nicely Restored

This nicely restored Chevy pickup truck was parked by our office one-day last week. It’s a 1937 model (thanks Rubens Junior). This model originally had a 216 cubic inch in-line 6 cylinder engine that produced around 85 horsepower.

  1. What a great looking car! I love vintage and restored objects from the ’50. A good friend of mine just made an offer for a beautiful Gibson ES-125 guitar from 1952.

  2. Nicely restored and has a tasteful choice of color.
The truck is a much older machine though, it is a 1937 model. I wonder what kind of heart beats under the hood.

  3. Oh what an absolute beauty with V8 restored engine
    Love-love the colour
They should make a movie with this pick’,up
Growing up I saw a few of them
But I’m more familiar with the Chevy Impala.

  4. Nice restoration. One of those models where the flash outside is higher than the spark inside it. ’37 first year for the Stovebolt I think, but my car knowledge tailed off after my early days spent passing the hours with my father under a car hood.

    • I used to spend a lot of time working on cars and motorcycles. These days the cars are too difficult to work on myself. Thanks, Brian.

    • Our Cuban friend’s would go crazy over, old nicely restored cars and trucks. They loved tinkering on vehicles. Thanks, Randall.
