Wow that is quite a capture, amazing. I wondered if I was looking at his little eardrum or wax in the bunny’s ear. I love to watch bunnies in the wild. Beautiful photographs. xoxoxo Joni
How similar humans are to animals in that respect! Our blood vessels would be seen in a similar fashion under light. Its eyes are mysterious and captivating.
We have a couple of munchy bunnies on the property. Often backlit. Seems to be the time bunnies like to be out. I wonder if they think “Oh it’s backlit hour. I need to go munch of things!” Thanks, Dale.
Sweetness 🐇 ☺️
Thanks, Hedy.
I came for a squirrel and received a backlit bunny this is a true blessing
I’m getting a little squirrely for you with a bunny. Thanks, PBS.
Actually, I did see and photograph a squirrel right after the bunny, but the photos were not as good as the bunny.
It is I. The Oracle from the South.
Cute bunny. It’s interesting seeing all those tiny blood vessels in its ears. I’ve seen the same thing with people’s ears in the right lighting.
Thanks, KT. It is interesting to see the blood vessels.

Hi Joni. I was wondering about that. I think in might be ear wax or something else, since it’s much too high and exposed to be an eardrum.
A bloated tick? (yuck)
Cuteness overloaded 😍
I love its ears in the second picture. The light falling on it, revealing all its little nerves. Precious bunny! 🐰

Bunnies have really dark brown eyes. It’s difficult to get much definition in them when the sun is shining on them. Ear biology is interesting.
Thanks, Sam. We need a lot of cuteness overloading us these days.
Absolutely 😉 Always welcome with wide open arms..
Your photos never fail to inspire, Tim!
Thanks, Rebecca.
Wonderful pictures😍
Thanks, Ebar.
You’re most welcome!
They are queuing to be photographed and featured here. Throwing themselves in your path. I can see why mind you.
It seem that way sometimes. Critters have egos, also. Thanks, Shey.
Awwww…. he’s such a sweet walk companion!!! Wonderful shots!
Thanks, Marina. He was a sweet bunny and hopped along in front of me for quite a ways.
Of course he did! You’ve got everyone and everything hopping by you joyfully!
Wow, those transparent ears Tim!👏👏 great shot❣️
Thanks, Cindy.
Let’s go to the hop!
He was hopping to the hop alright. Thanks, Teri.
very special, love the ears
Thanks, Chine Dream.
That is a high definition bunny! He looks like he has a tick that has been feeding for a while at the base of that ear.
Could be a tick. Thanks, Lavinia.
Lavinia beat me to it . Great bunny profile.
Ha ha! Thanks, Maj & Sher.
Beautifully captured, Tim. I love the sun shining through its ears. Hugs on the wing… or hop!
Thanks, Teagan.
What good shots in the sunshine, Tim. And a beautiful subject, too!
Thanks, Inchcock.
Wonderful.
Thanks, Gigi.
Sweet!
Thanks, Tiffany.
Sweet! Reminds me of “my” bunny, munching away in my backyard. also backlit…

Haha! Maybe they think they are in their best light… or maybe they think we can’t see ’em properly 😉
Right. Like we are blinded by the light and can’t see them. There’s bunny logic for you.
Ha ha 🙂

What a beauty! Those ears are magnificent. Thank you, Tim!
You are welcome, Resa. I’m happy you like Hoppy.
Beautiful bunny in the bosque. 🙂
Thanks, Mary Jo.
“My what big ears you have”… wait, I got my fairy tales crossed up ha!
I don’t think so. Do you remember the killer rabit in Monty Python’s Holy Grail? Thanks, Brian.
You mean the one with “the most foul, cruel and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on”?
Yessiree Bob! Brian. You took the words right out of Tim’s mouth.
Very cute 🤩
Thanks, Ganga.

❤
And you had your bazooka with you right! 🙂
Yesiree Bob, Julie. I Bazooka’d the bunny.
Ha ha thought so!
Are you thinking along the lines of a bazooka of your own? You would love one.
If I got a bazooka… I would need a new camera! Mind you, that’s not a bad idea!
Probably not a bad idea at all.
Beautiful!
Thanks, Shelly (Is that correct?).
