These are some of the most beautiful roses I have ever seen. So perfect no spots, just incredible beauty. Amazing. We harvested our first milk weed seeds today and they look like the have cotton sticking out of them. So beautiful too, like feathers to help the wind carry them away. Hi Joni. I’m surprised I’ve had comments about these roses looking so perfect. They are struggling because of the drought. We get much better looking roses when we can water on a regular schedule. I’m having to do a lot of watering with drip systems and soaker hoses.

It my case, not enough water. There are so many things out there to ruffle our roses.
We’ve had lots of rain. Too much actually. A weird summer.
Too much water might be your roses complaints. We are at opposite ends of the spectrum – you are deluged and I have my droughts.
I heard about the heat wave out there. Stay safe!
The heatwave passed over us and hit the northwest. We are normal hot and very dry.
Im going to be in Seattle in early August. I’m a little concerned about the heat wave conditions.
It might be over by then, but I think August is normally the hot season for Seattle. Still, it may be cool compared to Florida.
So far we’re having a rainy season and it’s keeping the temp down . It may not bode well for hurricanes.
