No I haven’t. I always wanted to. To real Spain, None o this touristy stuff. Mah da considered going. That was during the Spanish Civil War…
It’s worth a visit. It’s practically just a hop, skip and a jump away for you.
I think it just seems that way
I guess it’s like people thinking NYC is close by because it’s the same country. It’s only about 3,000 miles from us.
yeah.. That is very very true. And in many ways it seems to us here that all thee states are so different, the US so large that it is way more than one country.
It’s really showing in the political divides these days.
Yep.Totally see that. On a much smaller scale it is the same here.
Is the layering in the ‘clouds’ due to smoke from the wildfires? Great timing on this shot, Timothy. Ol’ Sol looks like a huge bright ball rolling down the ridgetop!
Yes it is. After the Duke of Alburquerque. Alburquerque, Spain is our sister city. Thanks, Resa. WP is sent my comments to spam on most blogs. I must of made them mad complaining about their stupid updates.
Well, maybe, but SPAM is a weird creature.
I guess they tossed Shey in there because of her Hamsters.
Why did I ever end up in SPAM? All I can think of is my sheer sexiness! 😀
The Duke must have significance to you locals. 🌵🌞
Hi John. The Duke of Alurquerque. Alburquerque, España is our sister city. We saw a lot of the Duke’s castles exploring Extremadura in western Spain.
Oh, OK! I’ve never been to Europe obviously, just Bermuda and a couple Caribbean islands.
Like Three Dog Night, you’ve never been to Spain!
Oh, that’s gorgeous Timothy.
Thanks, Gabriela. The sun coming up as I was getting to the office.
My pleasure. Thank you for sharing 🌸
Very nice and sharing the history too.
Hi Shehanne. There’s a lot of Spanish history in New Mexico. Have you been to Spain?
No I haven’t. I always wanted to. To real Spain, None o this touristy stuff. Mah da considered going. That was during the Spanish Civil War…

It’s mostly smoke from wildfires. There are wildfires in New Mexico, also. Thanks, Maj & Sher.
That’s a beautiful sight.
Thanks, Holly.
It’s my pleasure for sure. Love the blue and the sun peeping over!
It got my attention.
I was going to say the smoke from the fires give a beautiful effect – though I wish they didn’t exist
Fires need to happen, they just don’t need to be so outlandish becuase of mismanaged and neglected federal and state lands.
Need to happen. Definitely not to this extent…
Did you know that the sunrise here is a bit red because of the smoke of the Californian fires rising to the upper atmosphere >
I’m not surprised. Thanks, Harry.
Oh, that blue!!!! 🙏
“I’m blue (daba dee ba da die)” Thanks, Marian.
😉
I assume you know the song by Eiffel 65?
Yay, I do! ….”And all day and all night and everything he sees is just blue”
I didn’t think you would have missed that one. So blue.
Looks like a smoky sunrise, Tim.
Evacuation Level 1 for our town and immediate area was lifted. Our rain started at 3:00 AM today, Wet ground never looked so beautiful.
Hi Lavinia. We are still getting smoke. That’s great you didn’t have to evacuate.
A little eerie but still beautiful!
Thanks, Tiffany.
Nice one, Tim!
Is Duke City a Nickname for Albuquerque?
I just freed you and Shey from my SPAM!

Sexiness would do it.
