Hi Tiffany. Quite depends on how you define quiet, I suppose. We get a lot of traffic noise from Interstate 25 which is a mile or two east of us across the river. Sometime the trains across the river, which are much closer than the Interstate, sound like they are on the ditch bank that runs behind our property. And when the temperature inversion is really set in, we can hear the concerts at the Casino’s amphitheater really clearly. When noise from the traffic, trains and concerts die down, we can hear the owls hoot, coyotes yip, geese honk, dogs bark, donkeys bay, cows moo, and sheep bleat. But there are times it’s very quiet.
Another beautiful evening by the river, Tim & Laurie. Love the beavers, heron and sunset!
Thanks, Lavinia!
wow, all in one day — how very fortunate for you.
WE are very fortunate. Thanks, Jet.
I like where you live.
Thanks, Cindy.

Such a lovely place you have there, bet it’s quiet too!
