  1. Hi, Tim., Nice to see a turkey again. I agree with Teagan’s comment on cuteness. I remember one time sitting on your deck and watching several turkeys stroll through your yard between the deck and circle garden, not at all concerned about people. 🙂

    • Hi Susan. I haven’t seen them in the yard lately. I had hear someone didn’t like them and was trying to get animal control to kill them. I hear them in the bosque now more than I see them.

    • Thanks, Susan. She was trying to decide to put up with me or run away. She put up with me.

  2. Aww, what a cutie! I just love turkeys. I had a pet turkey, once. My dad built a little shed outside for him. One day dad told us the skunks got turkey. Days later it was Thanksgiving, and we had turkey dinner. About 10 years later, I woke up in the middle of the night, and finally put 2 + 2 together.
    I’ve been a vegetarian since.

    • That’s a mean deception. We used to have turkeys and chickens and we butchered them. That was just part of farm life.

      • Honesty would have better in this life experience. But, hey, I’m happy things have turned out as they have, being a vegetarian. I have low cholesterol, perfect blood pressure and low triglycerides.
        Turkeys are very adorable!!!
