Freaking On The Food Chain

Resa, who has Graffiti Lux Art & More and Art Gowns, commented on my post Now For The Rest Of The Story earlier this afternoon with “Well, that’s something I’ve never seen. The food chain ……. is freaky.” I replied “Freaking On The Food Chain. I might have to make a song out of that phrase.” Resa, not missing a step, said “You go for it! Waiting to hear it.” After I got all my outdoors work done in the late afternoon, I came in and created Freaking On The Food Chain. It’s pretty much an improv on all tracks. Below is a photo of a couple of beavers on the opposite bank of the Rio Grande after sunset you can ponder while listening to Freaking On The Food Chain.

  1. Hi Tim, how perfect! Great instrumental and I love the vocals at the very end, strong impact! Yeah, I’ve been “Freaking On The Food Chain”, myself today. What a terrific way to close out the day with a little music. Thank you!

  2. Is there a single person in this world Resa’s artistry and kindness does not inspire? I doubt it. Love & Happy Easter to you two talented two. Loved your composition!

  3. Recent studies prove that beavers cause extensive flooding.
The evidence against them is damning…

Cool music Tim. Keep it up!

    • Thanks, Lavinia. I’m still struggling with playing. My numb fingertips are often not on the strings or frets that they should be, and then it’s like hmmm, were did that sound come from? But I’m improving slowly.

  4. I’m really glad when you share your guitar playing. I also like the surprise at the end.

  5. That sounds really great! It may be my fave guitar piece of yours. Although you only sing one phrase at the end, your voice sounds very cool!
Thanks for the shout out! It’s been a busy week, 6 days between posts on GLAM.
Plus I’m about 25% into the new Art Gown, and it’s at the point where I want to spend more and more time with it.
At least I’ve gotten to do more art to music. I’m hoping for some really good results tonight. There are some very hot musicians coming. The last few jams have been mediocre, or mediocre +
I also did a very neat piece listening to Charlotte Hoather sing on one night.

    • Thanks, Resa. I’m happy you like the song. I can’t wait to see what art you’ve come up with during the jam sessions. I can imagine you wanting to spend time on your latest gown. I know it will be beautiful. I’ve been turning people on to the Infidel’s music videos. The music is really wonderful, and the videos are fabulous.
