Love the little birds in the fresh spring foliage! (I was anticipating a post about chile 🙂 ) Reply
Hi Tim, a terrific pop of red. This lovely and delicate photo is a wonderful reminder, it’s spring! Reply
What a beautiful little fellow! That is a really nice composition with the bird’s red and grey against the shades of green and grey bark trees. Reply
Thanks, Lavinia. The bird was really camera shy at closer range, but ended up being a good character. Reply
A beauty. Oh, yesterday I saw two Western Tanagers! (No, I didn’t suddenly learn about birds. LOL. My friend in Tularosa was excited when she saw them earlier in the week and sent me a picture link.) They were only there for a moment. Reply
That’s exciting. We should be seeing them soon, then. I’ve seen an orange tanager, but not the western tanagers so far this year. Reply

What a gorgeous bird in your wonderful shot.
What kind of bird is that?
I’m not sure on the bird. It may be a red headed sparrow, but I’m not really sure.
Cute birdie!
Thanks, Robert!
