What a wonderfully descriptive account: I was right there with you.
Thanks, Julia!
A fascinating photograph and scene, I wonder where this path leads?
Thanks! Did you see the rest of the series?
I have now, amazing photos Timothy, I particularly love the “cattails” in the moonlight! Lovely!
Thanks, Heart of Fire. The cattails photo is most everyone’s favorite.
it’s amazing! 🙂
Tim, looks like you took the path less traveled. Wonderful photos of your journey. ~ Mia
Thanks, Mia! They are more paths that become over grown faster than the travelers can remember to take lopping shears with them to cut back the growth. Last fourth of July, Laurie and I took lopping shears out to the spot where we like to watch the fire works show on the banks of the Rio Grande, and cut down a bunch of the undergrowth so we would get a clear view of the fireworks. Lopping shears are not something we generally carry with us when we walk in the bosque or on the sandbars in the river.
You’re welcome, it’s beautiful, yet I can understand the need for the lopping shears, the undergrowth does look awfully prickly. Have a nice evening Tim.
Tim, very creative photos! Scary though! Don’t know if I would have had the mind to take photos, I’d be too busy looking around and staying safe! 💛 Christine
Thanks, Christine. I didn’t see anyone else out there. I was all alone.
(laughing) No other scary shadows, creepy branches, or rustling bushes? 💛
Just me and my shadow. Thanks, Christine.
Intriguing!… great photograph and words alongside it, Timothy… happy holidays 😀
Thanks, Aquileana!
