Those bees did look like spiders…and the toad, too sweet. I have a little brown one that comes to visit if I sit outside late in the evening. And as always, gorgeous flowers.
What a beautiful rose, Lynn Anderson is. And the colour of the delphinium … they are one of my favourite flowers, and we have some the same colour in our garden. Last year, the slugs ate them before they had a chance to flourish, but this year a few managed to escape. Your garden must give you so much joy.
Wet paint for skeeters – LOL – and that Lynn rose is gorgeous!
Thanks, Teri! I have do what I can with these pesky skeeters. Lynn is a beautiful rose.
She is! I do not do well with skeeter bites 😦 Itch and swell something awful!
I’m not usually a skeeter magnet, but they are vicious this year. But I still don’t get bits like a lot of people.
Lucky you!
I eat lots of garlic, which seems to help.
🙂
Wet paint? With you, Tim, this could be going anywhere. 😀
Just trying to keep the skeeters off the board I had freshly painted.
Skeeters there must be smarter than people here. 😉
As usual, I loved the flowers 🙂
And have to thank for making me laugh with the small “wet paint” sign!
Thanks, Lari! So happy you found the wet paint sing funny.
Your garden is buzzing and hopping in every sense, it seems – thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Matt!

Thanks, Julia. The garden is fun.
