Thanks, Susan! I wanted to get the clouds over the Sandias, but was never at a good point. Just happened to be driving down Atrisco when I got the shot of the Manzanos.
The Land of Enchantment is definitely worth facing your fear of flying to visit! There are a lot more spectacular views all over NM. Plus we have the places Walter White did his dirty deeds, one of the longest aerial tramways in the world, Roswell, modern pueblos, ancient pueblos, White Sands, and Carlsbad Caverns just to mention a few.

I am so glad you got that image. I could see something very similar over the Sandias, but my view was too limited to even try to photograph it!
