Magnificent images. My favorite, although surrounded by all the colors, is the datura pod. They are so interesting at any stage of the life cycle.
Your weekend looks fabulous!
Thanks, Susan. It was hard to get shots of some of the flowers because so many of them are tiny, yet the wind still whips them around making it almost impossible to focus at a macro level.
desert flowers are some of my favorites… they look so beautiful against the stark surroundings… amazing shots… makes you realize how beautiful the desert is.

There’s a lesson there somewhere … even in the desert, look at the variety and abundance of blooms. Thank you.
Thanks, Julia! Many of them are tiny flowers, so you have to really look to see them, but our high desert has a great variety of beautiful flowers.
The desert is a colorful place. Beautiful photos, Timothy! I’m waiting to see the snake….
Okay. I’ll do the snake tonight.
Looking forward to the snake!!!
I put up a page with all the Salmon Brook cat crew on it, for whenever you’re over there on the site again.
I checked out your kitties. They are all fine looking kitties.
Thank you! They think so too… 🙂
