When Rosencrantz is serious about sleeping in, he only shows his perked ears to warn him of imminent danger, and a few claws to let you know his snoozing should not be interrupted.

Since I don’t let Paco in the bedroom, and since he is getting older, I finally broke down and ordered a heated cat bed. We’ll see if he can sleep as happily as your cats with you! 🙂
I’m sure he appreciates the heated cat beds, because our cats like the regular cat beds as well as our bed. I’m so used to sleeping with cats I don’t sleep well without them, but when Rosencrantz wakes me up at 4:00 am to give me a report after making his rounds, looking out every window and checking the catio to make sure everything is secure, I sometimes have trouble going back to sleep.
Paco “always” awakens me around 3:00 am, but I can go back to sleep. When he wakes me up again between 5 and 7, I cannot go back to sleep. This year I have kept the house warmer at night, but I think he needs a little boost to keep him comfortably warm these days.
