Karlsruhe

Squirrel Nutkin was jumping around in the trees on my morning walk

We went to Karlsruhe today, where Tristan and Craig had some business to take care of. It’s an hour and a half from Bruchmühlbach-Miesau, but we had a long roundabout way back after the police closed the AutoBahn.

This place is said to be a TikTok sensation for having Octopussy Gyros

    • All the peacocks I’ve seen out here so far have fanned their tails. One of the peacocks in the elephant enclosure was bothered by a stick on the ground. It fanned its tail and then backed up to step on the stick, and then it stopped that sucker in the ground. It really taught that stinking stick a thing or two. Thanks, Brian.

    • The elephants were in a display area we couldn’t see from the overpass. Lots of Eurasian critters are around here. Thanks, Lavinia.

  1. Must be rare for the AutoBahn to be closed!

How cool the postal peeps ride bicycles!

And that is Ein richtig lila Auto!

    • They shut down the AutoBahn for accidents. Fortunately, we got rerouted just in time. Tristan said everyone between the reroute and the accident would be stuck until they cleared the accident. They had various types of bikes for the pedalling postal peeps. That was one purple Cadillac.
