He’s awee one who wee wee on you as well. I used to play with toads when I was a kid, and people would say that I’d get warts from the toads, especially when they peed on me. I think that was a old wive’s tale, as I have no warts to this day. Thanks, Shehanne.
How cute is that little frog! I love tree frogs, we have lots of those and the big Bufo. I wonder why he’s hanging out in the footprints 👣 of well, who knows what !
Hi Holly. It’s a toad. They hatch in puddles along the Rio Grande and hang out along the banks of the river eating insects until they grow up enough to head into the bosque and beyond.
Hi, Tim. What made the prints?
Probably dogs. Lots of prints on the beach Thanks, Susan.
A tiny critter, cute!
Or really big print. Thanks, John.
Oh my!! Either that is a tiny toad or a giant beast… or both!
I think both is most fitting. Thanks, Dale.
I think you are right 🙂
That pesky scale thing will get you every time! It is fun seeing prints and other signs of critter movements….
Thanks, Maj & Sher.
Those are really big paw prints unless that is a young toad. I looked up the Woodhouse toad, they are roughly 4″ at maturity.
Thanks, Lavinia. It’s a little woodhouse toad.
Good seen and nicely captured, as if the little toad was the winner of the meeting with the giant before.
True. The toad was still there, the paw print maker was not.
Buona giornata Timothy 🙂
Grazie, Simona. I hope you are having a terrific Tuesday?
Tutto bene
My goodness,, he is awee fellah that.

At first I thought I was looking at bear prints, Tim. A dog? Good grief, that is one big dog!
There are some big dogs around here. Thanks, Amy Rose.
Cool, I used to try to track animals and tried to learn as many as I could, those are some big prints, yep, a big dog!
Thanks, Tiffany. Tiffany the tracker. There’s a good story there.

A toad huh? Well that’s not very glamorous. 😊🤗
It’s still cute.
He/she really is! 🐸
Beautiful image, Tim! Looks like the dogs created tiny shelters or playgrounds for the toad! 😉
The little toads get lots of exercise and toady problem solving navigation the paw print pocked beaches of the Rio Grande. Thanks, Marina.
😄😁
I have no sense at all!!!!
Thanks, Resa.
Gosh I nearly missed Mr Toad! 🙂
