Amazing art. Quite nice how the existing items on the wall morph into the mural, such as that maniacal guitarist appearing to wear an earbud/lamp. The sampler behind the dumpster and that open lid give it a nice 3D effect.
Hi Bill. You have a keen eye. The artist made really good use of existing features such as the security camera for an earbud, as you mentioned, the hose to the air-conditioner becomes the cord to the guitar. The electric meter is part of the mixing board. Quite an array of mixed use in that mural.
Hi Holly. It’s on the alley side of Route 66, but still part of the historic route. You might have seen the building if you rode through Downtown Albuquerque while wondering Route 66.
