Thanks, Ingrid. We were definitely a safe distance. I would have liked to have been closer for some of the shots, but we were walking up slowly as not to disturb them, and they saw us from quite a ways off. They have very good eyesight.
Thanks, Cathy. I also came across stories about Coachwhips hypnotizing women and suckling their breasts to feed on the women’s milk — although I would think those type stories would be more fitting for milk snakes.

We have coach whips around here, but no red ones. It’s lovely. The brown one’s nice also.

I haven’t heard that one either, Tim. My snake education is sorely lacking. lol
