Hi Colleen. There were no special effects here. Using a ƒ/1.4 lens and setting it to manual focus, I focused and the raindrops on the base of the windshield and used the short depth-of-field to make the lights reflecting through the rain drops and water steaming down the windshield soft, flaring and abstract.
Love it.
Thanks, Julia!
Really cool. That’s very much how it looks through a windshield when I take off my glasses (when I’m a passenger of course).
Saturday hugs!
Pretty much the same for me. Thanks, Teagan!
Looks groovy, man!
Like In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida baby? Thanks, Teri!
I was thinking more Age of Aquarius.
Iron Butterfly is more psychedelic. Besides, I never liked Age of Aquarius.
I loved almost every song in Hair but was never old enough to go see it (nor would anyone who could take me do it) on it’s initial run.
We had the Hair album (probably still have it somewhere) when I was growing up. The only song I liked and still like is “Hair”.
I had the album but it got lost during a move 😦 Need to look up rest of the songs.
The original 1968 soundtrack is still available, but now you have a choice between streaming, MP3, CD, vinyl or audio cassette.
I would love to know how you created this? Beautiful texture and color.

Wonderful image! Thank you for sharing your creative process.
Very gaze-worthy. I started out thinking there was definitely a face in the green one: now I’ve realised there’s a happy face and a sad face.
Hi Susan. There are faces in those drops. Maybe spirits caught it the drops?
Lovely work. Rain can push creativity a lot! 🙂
Especially in the SW where we don’t get a lot of rain. Thanks, Dina!
Wow I love this. All your photos are always wonderful. I love the different subjects and your sense of humor. Have a wonderful week! 😌🌼
Thanks, Michelle!
