Wow, cool shot! I love those beasties. I was out doing some weeding tonight and reached up to cut a dead rose of a bush near me and the tiniest little green praying mantis landed right on my shoe. He was so cute and I managed to move my foot so it could hope right back up on a rose leaf. So wish I’d had a camera. 🙂 ❤
Thanks, Natalie. The tiny ones are especially cute. I haven’t seen too many green manti this year — mostly blonde. It’s out of the ordinary to have so many blonde manti.

Interesting Timothy! I see mostly green ones in my yard and not many blonde ones. Wonder why? 😊
Happy New Week 🙂
Have a wonderful week, Simona!
What a shot! Wish I had some of those for the beetles that are chomping my green beans!
Yes you do! Thanks, Teri!
We had one that appeared like magic every year at our old place but none here 😦
Really wonderful capture. Praying mantises intimidate me very much. They are totally formidable.
They are really curious and interesting. Thanks!
Fantastic capture! 🙂
Thanks, Inese!
A beautiful blond Praying Mantis….be careful Tim, you know the females like to bite off your head! lol!

ps. all kidding aside, nice shot!
You have to be careful. Thanks, Bull!
Wonderful photo, Timothy. It looks like you are both praying together.
Thanks, Jet!
Aww love these pictures! Mantis are so pretty! When I was a kid there were a lot, now I don’t see them anymore..
Thanks, Sara. That’s too bad that you don’t see them anymore, they are beneficial and lots of fun.
