Ah, does this ever take me back. A great era in music, rock at its best. To me, the groups of the late 60s and early 70s recorded some awesome music. Thanks for the song, Tim. 🙂
Hi Cathy! Many of the old rock groups have a musicality that is missing in most contemporary pop and rock, plus I miss good drum solos and the older style guitar solos.
I do too. I also miss the instrumentals –Wipe Out, Sleep Walk, Apache, No Matter What Shape Your Tummy’s In, Tequila, Peter Gun, Hawaii Five-0–I could go on and on. I don’t think instrumentals are made anymore.
There are instrumentals, but they are weird, techno, and new agey. Tristan is playing some that’s a mix between instrumental and vocal soundings while she’s helping fold handouts for Laurie’s Viking Language class tomorrow. Of course, Pee Wee Herman’s dance to Tequila is great.
Impressive (and fun) photo to go with the soundtrack of my youth.
Thanks, Simon!
Bella musica HAPPY FRIDAY 🙂
Grazie, Simona!
A fun Friday all around. Neat photo of the rabbit. And a you tube video too! Love it all! Such fun!
Thanks, Nancy!
I always loved her voice. Amazing!
Thanks, Teagan!
