Beautiful frosty grass! I like the icy blue background too. You are getting the really cold weather there. We are in the 40s and low 50s here this week.
Good one Tim.
Oddly enough this morning on my walk into town – I saw some branches of a bush hanging over a wall, and despite the weather and time of year some buds were forcing there way through.
I tried to photo them, but the results were depressingly poor. It’s the message that came with what I saw I wanted to relate. I’m waffling again. Sorry. TTFN
I LOVE the abstract affect, Timothy. Hope you had some really warm photographer mitts on, because I KNOW how that cold can hurt! Beautiful image!! Love, Amy
And this is good. 🙂 I’m going shopping next week, maybe even after Christmas to get a woolen hat with ear flaps and that ties under the chin, and photographer mittens. It is just too cold here to be outside for long periods of time. I have all the other clothes necessary and boots too. Hope you are having a great weekend, Timothy! Love, Amy
Stunning!
Thanks, Susan!
I like this one. It looks as cold as you said it is! 😁
Thanks. Happy that I got the feeling of the cold across. It’s difficult in a photo like that. Zela would freeze her.. well you know 😉
Haha! Yeah, she’s not too into cold weather! 😅
Beautiful. Love the background. It looks like it is out of focus due to movement, not dof!
Thanks Emilio! There could have been some movement from me shivering in the cold! 😉
Beautiful beautiful colors and frost!! Lovely
Thanks, West!

Thanks Lavinia! It hasn’t been too bad for this time of year. It’s often in the teens or even single digits in December at our house.
Beautiful and magical. Hope you don’t mind if I print a copy of this one out.
Thanks, Julia! You are well come to print it, but I put up really low res files, so I doubt it will print very well.
I just sent you a email.
I guess I didn’t send you an email. It bounced because your box is full. Email me please: elcheo@swcp.com.
Ugh – too much junk mail this week. I’ll clear it out and drop you a note.
Love it.
Thanks, Janet!

The beauty of life struggles to show itself even in the cold and darkness of winter and gives us hope for the coming season.
Too true Sir.
Really beautiful!
Thanks, Laura!
You’re welcome! 🙂
Grass is such a summery image, I think it’s brilliant in a frosty version. Awesome and creative photo.
Thanks, Jet! I was super shiny in the morning light, but very difficult the capture in a photo.
Fun and feels like Christmas.
Thanks, Genie. Laurie thought it looked like Christmas.
Remarkable photograph Timothy!. I love it.
Happy weekend ahead to you. Aquileana 😀
Thanks, Aquileana! Have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks, Amy! I wasn’t out long enough for my hands to get very cold. Thanks for your concern!

I have photographer mittens, but I think my daughter snitched them. I’m going to have to find another pair.
Tee hee ….. Didn’t mean to laugh, Timothy, but I must admit that’s pretty funny. Typical. LOL Love, Amy
one word: SPLENDID! RAR = rien à rajouter = nothing else to add…
Thanks, Mélanie!
