He opened the seventh sack, and there was silence. But soon smoke rose from the abyss as the flames blistered their skin, which crackled and popped as they rolled in the fiery furnace. From a pile of flayed bodies a beast arose.
It’s our 7th sack from Wagner’s Farm, the only place we get green chiles. I got there right as they opened, and they only had three sacks of Big Jim. If I would have gotten there 5 minutes later, they would have been sold out.
When I called earlier in the week, they told they wouldn’t have more until next week. 😦
Well, I’m hoping they do get more in next week. Big Jim are the only kind I really want.
But, the fact that you got some today does give me hope they will have more, sometime next week. 🙂
They will probably get a big load in from their farm in Socorro next week. I think they get a steady trickle of Big Jims, but the chance of you driving out from the heights and they are out is pretty high right now.
That last photo looks like a creature from a Sci Fi movie I saw as a kid, where the alien blob would absorb hapless humans into its gelatinous structure. In this case, you are ingesting the hapless pepper creatures… 🙂 I’ll have to try chilies that way sometime. Looks good!
Do you know what chile this is? (I really want to hope this is Big Jim)
They are Big Jim.
Did you get this at the same place as before?

I was just coming up with a beast. Green chiles are distinctive and addictive.
This is a very scary post… Maybe it’s just my imagination. 😉
Yes it is, but not as scary as Revelations 8 😉
Ha ha ha… True!
Terrifying …. and delicious.
Yes on both;)
