Grapes Gone Wild

DSCF0931

The garden got about 3/4 inch of rain over the past few days, and with a good soaking from the irrigation, the grapes have gone wild (along with most of the plants on the property), and climbed into the apple tree, where they are dangling among the apples. I’m sure most self respecting winers would not allow their grapes to mix with their apples, but when we get a little water in our dry climate, grapes (and a whole lot of other stuff) happen!

      • I’m thinking about a cute little orange and white kitten~ actually she kindof adopted me first – but I’ve not decided yet… I’ve never owned a cat before 🙂

        • Since you haven’t had a cat it may not be much of a problem. Our kitties use to scratch the couch, but one we recovered it they stopped. We noticed the places they tend to scratch in the house most are places previous kitties had rubbed. If you have lots of kitty toys and a scratching post and scratching pad, you can teach her leave the furniture alone.

  1. That first photo looks as if they were made out of sterling silver! Yes, those little devils of grapes will climb onto anything they can. Our table grapes on the north border keep trying to climb up into the wild cherry trees.

That’s a pretty Mama Manx. Yes, cats are wonderful!

      • Wow! Nice. A garden with tht kinda water flowing should be impressive! And moreover, a boa as a pet in a household & ur various insect photography make it look so mystic to me 😛

        • We only get irrigation water every two weeks, which is not really enough in our dry climate. So I have to water with drip systems in between irrigating. The insects really like all the flowers and plants, which gives me a nice array of subjects. The boa is fun, and a little unusual.
