After getting “logged in” the other day, Mama Max got stumped today. Guildenstern is feeling better as you can see by his kingly pose, and Diné was looking at him like “Who do you think you are?” Rosencrantz was hacking up a hairball a few yards to the east of Diné when I did these shots. Rosencrantz is quite a hacker when it comes to producing projectile hairballs, but I figured I’d spare you the action.

Some might call projectile hairball action art…
Beautiful cats, Timothy! Guildenstern reminds me of our old Mr. Beautcastel who passed on back in 2005. That same black cat kingly pose! Hairballs….I remember my brother telling me about the time he woke up from a nap to the sound of a hairball being expelled. He looked up just in time to see the hairball being hacked up onto his head.
Thanks, Lavinia! Your brother is not the only one who’s had that experience.
His wife was in the kitchen at the time. She said she could hear him screaming, “No…NO…NOOOOOOOO!”
And to no avail, of course. Even though you know what’s happening, it’s like all your movements go into slow motion truing to stop the inevitable.
These are precious pictures that bring out the cats’ personalities–they would be great for framing.
Thanks!
I’ve seen that look on a cat before, that is the “I’m up to no good look”!
Our cats are usually up to no good!
