The title is another line taken from the 1991 introduction to an adaption of the arcade game “Zero Wing” that had really bad Japanese-to-English translation (It’s also included in the intro to the video All Your Base Are Belong To Us). The crew working on cleaning up the smoke in the office is moving and cleaning everything. They pulled out a computer bag that had been sitting forgotten in a corner for years that had an old Macintosh Powerbook G3 in it. I plugged it in, and turned on the old PowerBook and it still had Mac OS 9.1 on it. Not long after I got it booted it gave me a system error with the bomb. Although nostalgic, I don’t miss the days before OS X and iOS.

Ah, nostalgia… I remember those days too…
Another tech at the office was saying for all the cool design, inventiveness and innovations that came out of Apple over the years, the days when we had to eject diskettes and CDs by moving them to the trash, and giving us a bomb for a system error was not among their brightest moments.
Gone and not missed one bit but hey, it was fun at the time 😉
For sure!
