Balloons in B&W

The balloons finely flew over our house this morning. They were high and moving fast, but even though I’ve done hundreds of balloon photos over the years, it’s impossible not to photograph them. I decided they look great in B&W and the checkered balloon displays the full range of the gray scale.

  1. I’m glad you got some coming your way. The wind seems to be kicking up now – there may not be too many flying days left for this Balloon Fiesta 😦

      • My friend went on Saturday. I had tickets for both of us, but I really overused my arm at the BioPark on Friday and ended up not going. We have another set of friends arriving today, but I am not certain how kind the weather is going to be for the last part of Balloon Fiesta. We’ll see, I guess…

  2. Yes, they are interesting photos with lots of contrast and varied shades of gray and wonderful composition. Great job, Tim.
