Udderly Amazing

I went to the field this morning, which gives you a different perspective on the balloons and the crowd. Since it was Tuesday, the number of people was about half of what they get on the two Saturdays and Sundays.

Abobe upgraded Bridge, Photoshop, and Camera Raw, and I got errors opening most of my photos. I finally gave up on troubleshooting the issue and processed the images in On1 Photo Raw.

Dawn

A thunderstorm passed through this afternoon and produced 0.02 inches of rain. Not much precipitation, but looking on the bright side, that was double the rainfall we got in July.

Balloons were flying this morning. We should start seeing more balloons as the Balloon Fiesta draws near.

Proto-dawn sky with clouds and stars Sirius is in line with Orian’s Belt.

Pre-dawn the clouds had gathered, and I surprised a skunk. I thought he might have got me a little, but when I asked our office manager if I smelled like a skunk, she said no. Although, another staff member came in a bit skunked after her dog got sprayed.

Lots of balloons up this morning. Click on any photo in the gallery to enlarge it and then you can click through the slideshow.

I had to take a car in for repair and go to a meeting first thing this morning, so I had to photograph the balloons on my way out of the office. Our office building is close to the balloon field.
