Frankenstein

We rode the train to Frankenstein today.

Frankenstein Castle in the background. The groundskeeper’s chapel in the foreground.

Frankenstein Castle has a nice pair of knockers.

There’s an electric fence to electrocute you, and I presume, put you out of your misery before you hit the bottom in case you slip off the narrow trail to the castle and fall down the very steep slope.

Bad Bunny

If you’ve ever wondered what happened to Herbie, The Love Bug, he retired in Frankenstein.

  1. Lol, loved the joke. Must say this is an interesting place. I would never visit because I’d be drawn to walk across these beams so… I won’t give the city Shelley credits for getting the idea of a certain figure here, a shout out….

    • I’m happy you liked the joke. A woman has to know her limits! You don’t want fo fall (literally) into temptation. Thanks, Shey.

    • I’m sure Frankensmut was all the rage back in the day. On the lines for bird smut, I’ve been seeing a lot of Great Tits on my walks with Freyja over the past few days. Thanks, Couriers.

  2. The castle looks a bit creepy inside but beautiful outside.Herbie and Frankenstein- two legends!☺️
