Oh my goodness, this post felt like I took a nature walk – enjoyed it – and then you brought us indoors with the fun cat and dog closing – ahhh – thanx for the smile today
Holy cow, that is a loyal of birds I’ve never seen! Probably the only one I recognize is the eurasian Robin. I won’t pass up the opportunity to say great Tits!
Craig took photos of me photographing Frankenstein with my phone and my “Compensation lens“ hanging by my side (70-200mm. I did not attempt to bring the Bazooka lens) . Laurie said she thought I looked silly using the phone and not the larger lens. I told her I mainly use the “Compensation lens” to photograph Tits.
I see the birds on the list fly by, but they vanish once they fly into the forest. I get glimpses of the Magpies, but unlike the Magpies I saw in Paris, that were in my face, the German Magpies are shy.
Fantabulous! Such a difference from your home, eh? Love the murals, too.
Thanks, Dale. So different. I was going to name the post “Germany has Great Tits” but thought better of it.
Isn’t that a wonderful thing?
Chicken!! You shoulda!
It was the chickens next door that brought out the chicken in me. I might have increased my traffic with a Great Tit title.
I don’t doubt you would have!
I particularly like the Great Tit photos against the pale blue sky.
A uncharacteristic clear day yesterday. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Lovely.
Thanks, Shey.
It looks like you’re taking full arof your trip Tim, capturing both the natural and urban goodness.
Thanks, Brad. I’m having a great time.
Always interesting to check out birds in a new environment but you’ll have almost 100% difference in Germany.
True. We have the common sparrow back home, but not the rest of the birds Merlin ID’d. Thanks, couriers.
Great pictures, Tim. The birds seem to follow you wherever you go!❣️
I think I’m following the birds. Thanks, cindy.
Keep having fun🦜🦜🦜
You are getting in a lot of good walks and beautiful countryside. I am enjoying this virtual tour!
Thanks, Lavinia.
I really enjoyed this, Tim. Did you come across any Magic mushrooms in the woods? Hehe! Cheers.
Thanks, Inchy.
Wow! That was wonderful.
Thanks, Gigi.

Thanks, Yvette.
🙂
You’ve been busy!
Busy as a cold bee. Lots of trails to wander around on. Thanks, Geoff.

I forgot to mention in my comment on the previous post that the fungus is pretty. Lots to like here especially the common buzzard 🤗
Those buzzards are big. I photographed Red Kites today. Theay are big, also.
Looks like a great walk Tim! Who owns that lovely Atlas?
Tristan and Craig. Thanks, Julie.
