I went to see Alice Cooper last night. It was a fun concert. He is still a great showman. I was about 25 feet from the stage in the center. I got four guitar picks thrown by the guitarists, but I only kept one. The people around me really wanted those picks. Nita Strauss does great hair whips. I caught a lot of them. Ryan Roxie and Tommy Hendriksen rocked on their guitars. Chuck Garric played a mean bass, and Glenn Sobel was fantastic on the drums. I assume Alice’s daughter, Calico, played the Pirate, but I can’t say for sure. Alice had a boa constrictor close to the same size as my Blue. Cold Ethyl had the same hair as Sia. Hmmm! Alice lost his head, of course. Here are some photos from the show. Click on the photos to enlarge them.

Hi Timothy, your pictures are great. I don’t know the band or what hair whips are. I’ll ask my husband. This is his music too
Thanks, Robbie.
💙
Thanks, Christine.
This takes me back many, many years ago when my brother took me to the ‘Welcome to my Nightmare’ show in Antwerp. I still have all the early Alice Cooper vinyl records. My musical heroes (while growing up) were David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Kraftwerk and Pink Floyd.
He had a clip of Vincent Price’s Black Window intro in this show. I was in line with some other old folks and they asked when I first heard Alice Cooper. Around 1970 I told them. One couple was surprised, I must be a bit older than they are. The woman in front of me said she saw him in 1969 in a small venue. That was cool. I was surprised how many young people were there wearing AC makeup, top hats and costumes. Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd and David Bowie have be longtime favorites of mine, too. I had almost all his vinyl albums. Thanks, Herman.
Just checked my ticket collection; we saw AC in September 1975. AC is still very popular in Belgium. He played at Graspop Metal Meeting in 2022 and 2023. The festival is 20 minutes drive for me.
I had to drive 25 minutes to the show. But that’s par for the course out here.
How fortunate!
Hell of a show!!!!!!!!! Brilliant photos! 🤘👌👏
Thanks, Marina. AC has a great stage presence.
You had a slightly different show, but that’s the whole idea. Will catch with later.
Thanks, Elizabeth.
Sent an email …
Love that first ‘photo’ … banned in New Mexico.
Cool a few years back when I saw Alice he played the whole show in his golf outfit 😅
That would be cool, too. He’s an excellent golfer. Thanks, Matt.
Looks like a fun time! Rock on . . .
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Great concert photos Tim. Alice was at our local al golf course a few years ago. No concert though.
AC is like a pro golfer. Have you seen the interview where AC talks about Glen Campbell? They golfed together all the time. Thanks, Brad.
I’ll go look that one up. His book Golf Monster is worth a read if you have a little bit of time. I learned quite a bit about the man behind the on-state persona.
I’ll have to check it out.
He’s amazing. Looks like a fabulous show . Thanks for the pics.
It was a fun show. Thanks, Shey.
Personally I have always loved Alice Cooper from the start cos no matter the shock, he knows where his feet are and that is on the ground.
I was considered a real weirdo when I was a kid, especially since I had snakes. I really connected with AC because he was weird and performed with snakes, and his music was great. Three excellent qualities from my point-of-view.
Well I ‘fess up.. I was a sort of goth. And I still have stuff ….So yeah I loved Alice.
I can picture you as a Goth Girl. Goth on!
Yes!!!
Good for you! 🎶🎸 Professional quality photos. 👏🏻 As you do.
Price of ticket?
Not cheap. Thanks, BSL.
Super photos
Thanks, BSL.
Wow, thanks for sharing, Tim. Love it.. I feel like I was there.. just add music. Fun times💕
Lucky you!
Wow… great photos! Must be an iPhone… that’s the one feature I covet.
I saw Alice opening for Motley Crew but it was a free ticket and waaaaay up high. I couldn’t see Alice well but still felt the heat from Motley Crew’s flames!
Have you seen the movie Suck (Alice is in it)??
I have not seen Suck. I was close so the iPhone did great. Thanks, Leenda.
SEE IT!!
Comedy horror film with Alice Cooper, Dave Foley, Malcolm McDowell, Iggy Pop….
I looooove that movie!!!
A bit of Hollywood Vampirism?
Not really… a band and vampires. Malcolm is a vanpire hunter. Iggy is a music producer. Henry Rollins is a dj.
I wish there was a soundtrack available.
I watch it several times a year. “It’s not what it looks like!”
Not AC’s band Hollywood Vampires?
Nope!
Just confirmed the movie predates the band by 6 years.
There you go.
Great photos!
Thanks, GeoDel.
Sounds like a fun night out, Tim, and those are great photos! You took those with the iPhone?
All iPhone 13 Pro photos. Thanks, Lavinia.
Nita wins the prize for hair whips!
Great shots, Tim, and you presented them in such an order that I felt like I was watching the show.
Rock on Alice Cooper!
Thanks, Tim! xoxo
Thanks, Resa. I have a lot more pics. I’ll probably do some more posts at some point.
Sounds great, Tim. Jeep and I are going to make tea, and draw. I haven’t been able to get my drawing together last few days, but I have an important thank you post to do for someone, and I want to do a couple more drawings.
Time to get into it! xo
Have a great teatime and drawing with Jeep.
💖🐱
Was that you on stage with the chain around your neck? I bet it was! Great sharp photos. What settings did you use? My concert photos are quite often grainy through lack of light and high ASA.
Thanks, Geoff. The iPhone’s LiDar works well in low light and high contrast lighting.
Amazing…. i admit, i prefer using my phone fir low light subjectsx but continue to get better and better.
My phone is my main camera these days.
I’m so glad you went! We saw them with Iron Maiden. I cried tears of joy when I knew I was seeing Iron Maiden. It was amazing, their energy in their age is impressive! But, I was so impressed with Alice Cooper & his theatrics. I heard songs I didn’t know of, “I Love the Dead” being one. I didn’t know he put on such an entertaining show.
He is a wonderful entertainer. Thanks, Dawn.
As you know Linda and I absolutely love Alice and jealous you were able to catch his show – we missed him when he came close through, but hopefully we will catch him/them the next time around. Good to see Nita is still in the guitar lineup – thought she might break away now that she has released her latest album. Did they actually play Cold Ethel!!!!!!????!!! One of my favorites by far and not one I have seen them play live. Pretty sure he has his Halloween concert coming up with Rob Zombie – another one I would like to get to see some year – and I think it better be sooner or later as he is getting up there in age. Did notice Nita didn’t have the customary blood dripping out her mouth in your shots.
Laurie noticed the bloody slash marks on Nita’s arms and thought she might not be a good role model for depressives who cut themselves (we’ve know a few of those). They did Cold Ethyl before Only Women Bleed. He also had old footage of Vincent Price introducing The Black Widow. The Black Widow was guitar solos. It was a really fun show. AC know how to put on a show. Thanks, Brian.
