Balderdashing with the Hos
There are 97 days to go
Before it’s Halloween
They all will make a scene
The shelves are all well stocked
To rip you off a lot
For displays to fill your yard
With all those ghouly retards
Oh, Straight from Hell
Displays the sell
They go all the way
Oh, what fun it is to run
Not scared, I think I’m done
I sent Brian the photo last week. He had seen it on Lowe’s website but he didn’t know it was in the stores already. Holidaynymphomania is what I say. Thanks, Brad.
I think Halloween is taking over Christmas as the powers and media that be push secularization. Even though commercialized Christmas has everything to do with consumerism and nothing to do with Christianity, Christmas has “Christ” in it for Christ’s sake! Thanks, Shey.
Oh you can set your clocks by the same thing here. We also have holiday season which is ajoke considering our weather. During that time you can only buy sun hats and flip flops in the clothing aisles of many places. The second the 6 week summer hol from school starts, they have pencil cases and uniforms on–nothing like commercialling everyones’ lives away. Once or twice way back we were in Florida in October and at that point there was nothing Halloweeny in the shops here–very diff now–so I quite liked buying things. The second Christmas is over here, they start getting Easter stuff out.
Wonder of Blue Oyster Cult (or the Soft White Underbellies) get a portion of that sale. Every time I see a Halloween display I start panicking – just over two months until our big event.
I love that song too. Have you seen the SNL More Cowbell video to Don’t Fear The Reaper? We taught Søren More Cow Bell and he morphed it into all kinds of twisted parrot jingles. Thanks, Samantha.
A little early but sounds just about right. I leave my Christmas lights up all year. I’m a little lazy. The HOA would like me to take them down, so I turn them on for about 10 minutes.
Good gawd… please tell me that is not a Hallowe’en display!!
Only 97 shopping days left until Halloween. It is exacatacally a Halloweenee display. And I took the photo last week. Thanks, Dale.
I guess my comment was rhetorical, knowing full-well it was that… Balderdash!
To the tune of Jingle Bells:

Excellent!!!
Looks like it should be on Brian’s Haunted Trail. (Intrigued Corporate reference)

Not sure he needs any ideas. Have you seen the videos of the Trail?!
Yes I have. He does a great job.
What a ghoul picture!
Thanks, Geoff.
This photo and Timku are priceless
Hahaha. Or pricey! Thanks, JYP.
NOOOOO this is what i hate about summer.. it’s gone with the ghools💗
It certianly has. Thanks, Cindy.
I’m not sure what to say about this. I like your song for sure. 🎶
No need to say anything. Thanks, Holly.
That’s a fascinating display with a beautiful ominous haiku. Is it for the big day ( Halloween) or is there a message between those lines?
The display is for Halloween. Otherwise you have to read between the lines.
Well, here goes and I have a very wild imagination! Great creativity and music Tim.
When your born to be wild. BTW, have you been riding?
It’s been so hot I haven’t seen anyone out riding Tim. Just hanging out in the AC!
Well, that stire sure got in early. Christmas hext week?

It’s everywhere!
…Fooling us that Halloween is here! Oh, well! 🎃
Only 96 shopping days left. Thanks, Marina. Actually, fooling us that we need to die.
That too!
Lol… ‘Don’t fear the reaper’… 🙂 I wonder if that drummer has a Good Heart BEAT.. 🙂
Enjoy your weekend Tim.. ❤
Thanks, Sue.

They did make Reaper plural. Subtle change. I can feel your panic mode being laid up with injuries. Thanks, Brian.
Hmphf! Hallowe’en’s almost over.
They need to put up a Christmas display. Fools! 🙄😵💫😖😬
Your TimKu is revealing. You took me to an entirely different place with your words. Thanks Tim! xo
Thanks, Resa. I’m happy you got the gist of the Foolku.
Can’t Foolku me!
There’s no foolkuing around with you.
True, but we can ku ku kachoo all we want to music!
Like one flew over the ku ku nest.
True!
Or in my case, I can’t fly. So, I just walk through the darn thing. Those ku ku’s stick like burs! xx
Those ku ku burs are like Velcro® they really stick with you.
Yes they do.. like Velcro.
Hmm, I didn’t get a registered mark.
Kuku burs sounds like a tasty chocolate and caramel bar that stick with you, too! xx
option R gives you ®. Or Kuku bur could be a crazy chocolate bar.
Ah!® Thanks!
I forgot. Since you don’t fly, it’s one stroll over the ku ku nest.
I can do that!
That is so cool!!! 💀🎸 And “Don’t Fear the Reaper” is one of my favorite songs of all time!
I love that song too. Have you seen the SNL More Cowbell video to Don’t Fear The Reaper? We taught Søren More Cow Bell and he morphed it into all kinds of twisted parrot jingles. Thanks, Samantha.
Yes I’m aware of that SNL skit!!! Great stuff!
A little early but sounds just about right. I leave my Christmas lights up all year. I’m a little lazy. The HOA would like me to take them down, so I turn them on for about 10 minutes.
I leave Christmas lights up inside up all year. We use them for ambiance at night. I never put them up outside. Thanks, Danzig.
I remember that song by Blue Oyster Cult, “Don’t Fear The Reaper”.
It’s a classic. Thanks, Lavinia.
