Happiness is an empty box. My cat won’t go in them. My daughter’s cat won’t go in them either. I just gave Emmie a beautiful box and she completely ignored it…again. So she’s just not into them. Maybe because she was a stray for so long, or maybe she just doesn’t the the “box gene.” Who can say. Beautiful photo of your sweet kitty.
All cats are different. All of our cats love boxes. When I break down boxes to recycle them, they lie on the pile of broken down boxes trying to keep me from taking them out. I assure them that there will be more boxes. Some boxes will be really special to the kitties. Those boxes have to stay around for months on end until a new special box makes into the box pile. One guitar box was super special to all the cats. The would take turns lying on it, clawing it and they would fight for their favorite places on the box. That guitar box stayed on the floor in constant cat use for eight months before I was able to recycle it. Thanks, Gigi.
I had a good chuckle at Silver’s expression, That is a great composition with genie kitty in the box! And then I came to your Timku and was moved to tears. If only there was a genie to bring back a lost loved one.
I’ve always wonders if Cats would fail the spatial relationship tests we used to have in grade school. “Look at that box, I think I can fit into that box, who shrunk this box!”.
A sliver of wisdom from Silver, through a TimKu!

I love the poem, the picture and the idea of the product as an ex-product manager. Right colour, but otherwise all wrong.
Very clever. Love it.
Thanks, Shey.
Always playing in an empty box, even if they barely fit inside.
Genie kitties are magic. Thanks, Brad.
Kitty is misnamed. His heart is golden. If we only had one wish, that’s a lovely one, Tim.
