Hi Tiffany. Cats do have a thing for boxes and all of our cats love boxes. We always have a pile of boxes for them to play in, on, under and around. The balloon is left over from a music party in February. It’s been slowly losing it’s helium floating around the house lower and lower. Now it’s hovering at floor level. All the kitties like playing with it. They finally got the string off of it. Before that they would bat at the string, pull the balloon down by the string, let in go and watch it rise again. Sasha would grab the string and tow the balloon all around the house. I’m surprised they haven’t popped it. All our kitties like watching the hot air balloons when the fly over the house. A small balloon is just another toy.
