That was a fascinating read. I started out designing for projects using actual film. I was fortunate and got to work with Ernest Dickerson 3 times. 😀 I still have contact sheets of me in B&W and colour.
I had to relearn part of my craft when it all turned digital.

I did film back in the day but turned it in to be processed. Never saw behind the curtain.

And without having a child open up the camera to see how photos are made and kill the entire roll.
Nothing like a film photography. I left darkroom for good in 2015. Still have some paper and films laying around 🙂
Thats what I thought back in 2007, but then I started messing with film and processing agin in 2014. It’s like the 7 year itch.
Yes, it is always in the back of your mind. Digital is great, but film is your first love 🙂
