Hi Mia. The web is tiny, as is the spider. We were looking for the big spider and her web, but found this tiny web tucked in the corner of the iron girders on the bridge. She’s done for the season, but I assume this one, and another tiny spider and web we found are some of her offspring.
Hi Resa. It’s actually a tiny spider web, photographed at night with a bright flashlight shining on it. There’s a slight bit of movement making the webs appear thicker than they really were — I was using a slow shutter speed that was a few stops below the lens’ stabilizer’s ability to help me get really clear shots.
