Well, I figure animals show us how to live, so emulating non-spunky Spunk sounds like a good plan. Rest, recuperate and day dream the day away might be a good plan. I love doing all these things and I hope you are feeling spunkier soon Timothy.
Thanks, Cindy. I had a long talk with IT and they had me file a formal complaint. They said that’s the only way things get looked at and changed.
I’m sorry it has not been a good day for you. I think it must have been something in the cosmos because it has been a lousy day for me and one of my friends in Georgia. I’m praying for a better day for all of us tomorrow and for you to get your spunk back. Hugs, N 🙂 ❤
It wasn’t a bad day, I was tired. Thanks, Natalie.
I hope there are better less tiring days to come Timothy‼️❌⭕️
Thanks, Natalie. Today was much better.
Yay team‼️ I’m so glad it was‼️ Praise the Lord‼️❌⭕️
I made it up to 8300 steps today so I will share some of mine with you 🙂 I get the feeling just being cat like and resting is not your thing but maybe you can mimic them a bit and get some rest so that you can be spunky later 🙂
Thanks, Teri! Good steppin’!
Unlike today…we won’t discuss today.
I’m with Cynthia, Tim.
Go ahead and rest. Give yourself time to heal. Light and hugs.
Thanks, Teagan!
I have been through this as well and I can definitively tell you resting is a good thing to do right now for you and some specific nutrition to make those red cells rise. Give it some time Timothy, it will get better! Hugs and prayers to you.
Thanks, Eva. My doctor told me today that I need to keep up the steps. He said it’s really important in fighting off infection when my immune system is zero. It’s interesting that no doctor or nurse on this floor has told me to slow down or rest. They wish all the patients would follow their advice.
The doctor, your doctor is correct, it is of up most importance to keep away infections, especially now when the flu is around! Any virus, bacteria and such should be avoided carefully, so you really need to pay attention to that!
Keep it up Timothy, soon your immune system will thank you that you took care of it! Hugs and blessings~Eva
I hope your white cell count comes up soon so you can get out of danger from febrile neutropænia risk Timothy.
Hi Gary. The average for grafting is tomorrow, but my doc said it could be later in the week. They are stepping up precautions to limit infection as much as possible.
Good. An infection now would be bad.
It sure would.
Hang in there Tim. 🙂
Thanks!
I just caught up on your hospital journey (on your other site) and hope you will have really spunky days soon, Tim. Sending love and prayers!
Rest is only restful if one relaxes, Spunk knows how to do both.
It’s difficult to rest the mind because its nature is mercurial — wanting always to move, however, the mind can also enjoy the freedom of a quiet mind.
Heck, after you get through this health challenge, you’ll be teaching the Art of Mediation, you’ll be: Guru Tim. 😉
Ops, typo: the Art of Meditation.
Thanks, Genie.
Resting is good.
Thanks, Leya!
Prayers for your speedy recovery.
