  1. Cool photo of a creepy critter! That was one strange email exchange alright. Very strange indeed. C’mon healing…rah rah rah. That is the extent of my cheer leading nowadays 😉

  2. Something similar happened to me. I had a serious operation and was on leave from work. A person at work killed themself and I was called back in about 4 weeks into my 6 week recovery on an emergency basis. I was fine. When I came back in I was berated by this crazy nurse at work who told me I would jepardize my recovery and it wasn’t appropriate for me to return. She knew nothing about me or my medical situation. Interestingly enough, I knew she was odd, so I made a no visitors list at the hospital and she was on it. She tried desperately to get pass the nurses to visit me in the hospital, but God Bless them, they wouldn’t let her in. I don’t know why a few people act so strangely in these medical situations. I hadn’t really thought of it until I read your post, but your situation reminded me of her. It was almost like she wanted me to be more sick and impaired than I was which was creepy. All I can say is, stay away from this person if you can. Oh, and you are sharp as a tack, as always. Sending thoughts and prayers to you daily my friend.

    • Hi Cindy. What an ordeal for you. There are always a few in every crowd, organization, volunteer group who are just strange.

  3. The image is perfect and goes so well with your odd email exchange. So, there is some truth to the words, “from another planet”. I enjoy your sense of humor, a great read on the other site. Take care Timothy, I will be looking forward to your post tomorrow. ~ Mia

  4. So glad you are more than coherent and are feeling as well as you do. You demonstrare such an encouraging example of determination.

  5. Meds out of stock? Need to make substitutions that YOU are having to initiate? Seriously? What do your docs think about knowing that you are in for this stint and that the necessary or preferred meds are not available?

    Nice spider BTW.

And yes, weird exchange that you had with your emailer…you don’t know from whom? Curious on all the counts that you innumerate…presumptuous and inaccurate assessments…very curious. Glad that you were able to dispel the many myths and set him/her straight.

Keep up the so very good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    P.

    • Hi Patti. It’s not uncommon for meds that are associated with cancer treatments to be in short supply. They often had to substitute and the Cancer Center, as well. I know the person who sent the strange emails, just not disclosing identities.
