As a child the first time I saw a real roadrunner I was so upset it didn’t look the same or go beep beep 😉

We didn’t have many in the Midwest other than Saturday morning cartoons.
Yeah. I was disappointed the first time I saw a real Tasmanian Devil. Cartoons probably warp our brains.

Beep Beep! I was fascinated to see these birds on a trip to NM many years ago. They didn’t look anything like the cartoon version, but I should have guessed that since the cartoon Tasmanian Devil doesn’t look anything like the real one either. 🙂
