I did and I was on my phone and my app would not post a comment or a like. UGH that thing. I also noticed the WP changed WP did something new which is maddening. I wonder why they keep messing with it. I lost a lot of followers or dropped off people’s readers I noticed this happens a lot with WP. Oh I also saw a photo that reminded me of that photo. I just uploaded it to my media so you could see it.
Tally’s Cafe serves breakfast all day! I thought that was so neat that it’s right down the street like 800 miles~from you!I love Route 66 the entire strip in Tulsa is so awesome. The just built a new huge sign that looks like something from the 60s very retro I need to take a photo when I’m not with my girl she’s so impatient! 😀
Thanks, Michelle! It seemed odd that you hadn’t noticed it, since it’s so 66. But WP changes explains a lot. WP keeps dropping some of the people I follow, and it seems to be the same people. Really frustrating. I don’t know who is giving them input on the changes they make, but it’s not me since they don’t ask, and ignore my uncollected suggestions.
They are quite maddening actually. I had to say. If our IT did things like this they would all be fired! Plus trying to get ahold of them is a nightmare. I noticed they finally put a little chat que that opens up when you go to your dashboard. I do not like the new dashboard and I always use the secure one! They really are wasting a lot of time creating so many different way to post. I can imagine doing what you do you want to strangle them. OY. Plus this new little grade they did I noticed today that Safari is not pulling up photos so it’s nuts. Drives me crazy sort of! I think when you work with some of the finest this type of thing really makes me want to quit! I won’t of course but still! 💪 (`▿´) 👊 does this look like a throat punch. My girl always says mom that makes me so mad I want to throat punch them. I really like that and I feel this way about WP ;P
Thanks, Janna! Back in the 80s we had a family in town who had Nunzio’s Pizza. They had several buildings built in this retro 50’s style and it became a style to copy for a few years.
Another wonderful image from Albuquerque! 🙂
I have been in the 66 Diner across from Pres, multiple times, but that was a long time ago. I have not been to this one at all.
Great pic.
Thanks! Driving Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles or vice versa would be a great trip. I’ve been on the original Route 66 (before I-40) from Albuquerque to LA a few times and from Albuquerque to Oklahoma City on our way to Kansas many times during my lifetime, but I’ve never been east of Oklahoma City on Route 66. The total distance is between Chicago and LA is over 2000 miles.
well if i can make enough money I have place i would love to go this being 1 of them,Antarctica and Africa, Id better keep working and saving…..oh and a world cruise
I love driving by this nostalgic classic malt shop and have been meaning to stop in. Looks like I’ll go for a malt this weekend*
Other than stopping to photograph it, I’ve never been in it. Same goes for the 66 diner across from Pres.
Very nice neon lights! I like this a lot
Thanks, Michelle. BTW, did you see my post on the El Vado Motel a few days ago? Another gem from rout 66.

Oh good, I can get my fix! 😉
You sure can! Thanks, Cindy!
Nice photo, Timothy. Reminds me of a diner we used to stop at in Plattsburgh, New York, on our east-west trips. Good memories.
Thanks, Lavinia!
This is very cool.
Thanks!
Wonderful neon. I also like the lighted glass bricks.
Thanks, Allen! The glass block is a nice touch.
You’re welcome. I agree with the glass blocks. Very 1950s.
Tim
Love this. 🙂
Thanks, Janet!
I like the neon lights and the retro feel!
