  1. So – was it really 105 in ABQ????????????????? Hot here in Tucson…but it’s a dry heat…Love it actually – I am weird!! Hey where are the cool shots of Gold Ave that you took the other day??????

  2. We had a short run of cool weather here, but we’re headed back into the heat. Lovely sunflowers!

Cat testers sent the new food dish back to me. They can’t tip it over (good!), but did have fun driving it around the floor. Ants did finally storm the castle walls – not enough grease on the underside. Will regrease and return to the catlab for a retest.

    • The heat doesn’t feel too bad because it’s so dry, but it’s hot all the same.

Sounds like your ants a really aggressive. Our kitties get enough food on the floor, that it seems to keep the ants happy. It sounds like your cats discovered that the no skid bottoms are designed for dainty kitties.

      • Oregon ants are like the people here – resourceful and tough… 🙂

Dainty, my test girls are not, especially The Wynken. Nod can more than hold her own with her bigger sister, and Blynken, the Quiet Intellectual, is as fast as greased lightning. One can see the gears in her head spinning as fast. These girls rolled an office chair over to where the paper towels were hanging up, stood on the back and unrolled all the towels. They looked quite pleased with themselves.

  3. Looks warm! Although it’s summer here, we aren’t used to the soaring temperatures we’ve had recently. I long for an understated British summer! (But it’s true what they say, we Brits like nothing better than a good moan about the weather 😉 )

    • Thanks! The official temp wasn’t that high, but with all the hard surfaces downtown, it gets hotter than the official temp. But it’s still dry, so doesn’t feel too bad. I think you will enjoy The Painting.
