Rosencrantz and Guildenstern have been enjoying the tall, wild grasses, while the garter snake has been coming back and hanging out on our window sill.
Because they don’t know where it is and it’s hard for them to get through the thick ivy growing against the window if they did know it was there. The snake has figured out a perfect place to safely lay about and grab an occasional bite sized critter that might ramble by.
One spring and summer, a 6-foot King snake sunned about every day curled over the rounded top of a trellis I had put up for my yellow jesmin to climb. Neither my husband nor the birds liked it.
Cool photos! Your kitty has that “don’t bother me” look on his cute little face.
Thanks, John! Rosencrantz acts a bit pestered at times, especially when I photographing him.
Now why don’t the cats eat the snake?

I’m enjoying the photos! All look content, including the snake.
The snake is especially content, safely hidden in the thick Ivy outside, and a glass separating him from us and the kitties on the inside.
beautiful cat ❤
Thanks, Leyla!
Love your photos as always 🙂
Thanks, Marc!
I just love the kittie photos especially the last one. So cute.
Thanks, Juanita!
